The ICS 2006 conference will be held at the Cairns International Hotel, a 5 star property centrally located and awarded the Best 5 Star accommodation at the 2001 Tropical North Queensland Tourism Awards.

The hotel is located in the centre of Cairns and is close to departure points for Great Barrier Reef tours, shopping, the Casino and other attractions. Its facilities and services incude three restaurants and two bars, fully refurbished accommodation rooms with harbour or mountain views, multilingual staff, and a three quarter acre tropical pooldeck.

Discounted accommodation rates have been negotiated at the Cairns International as detailed below. All rates are for single, twin or double occupancy. To book your accommodation, please use the online registration facility or contact the conference organisers (do not contact the hotel direct). To secure accommodation bookings, you will be required to provide a deposit of one night’s accommodation to the conference organisers which will be passed to the hotel. The balance of the account is to be settled by the delegate at the time of departure.

As June/July is peak season in Cairns, please be aware that cancellations less than a week from the scheduled arrival date will incur charges equal to one night’s accommodation. Cancellations within 48 hours of arrival could incur charges equal to the full duration of the booking.
