Sustainable Living Foundation (SLF)

The afternoon forum on the topic: “What more can we do to achieve a ‘sustainable energy’ Australia?”

will be interactive and involve a panel of ‘lead thinkers’ including:

Facilitator: Max Dumais (Sustainable Energy Foundation - SEF)

Participants:

Esther Abram (Moreland Energy Foundation)

Colin Gomm (BP Australia)

Tricia Caswell (Centre for Global Sustainability, RMIT)

Prof. Bill Charters (University of Melbourne)

Frank Fisher (Monash University)

Nick Grollman (EEPOC Consulting

Rachel Ollivier (Alternative Technology Association)

Alan Pears (Sustainable Solutions)

Andrea Sharam (Energy Action Group)

David Risstrom (City of Melbourne)

Roy Adair (Pacific Hydro)

David Young (Sustainable Energy Authority of Victoria)

Each panel member will have their own keyboard and as a member of the audience you will be able to see their thinking being projected onto a screen.

At the end of each question, you will have an opportunity to add your thoughts as well.  By the end of the day, we will have written a comprehensive report together, with an emphasis on implementation.  A summary of this report will be available for members after the event.

The day promises to provide an important canvassing of the issues in both innovative and challenging ways.
