Employers appreciate students with double degrees because you gain skills that complement one another and make you a more rounded employee.
These days people look for career development and new challenges throughout their work life.
Those with a wider range of knowledge see the ‘bigger picture’ and can be favoured to move to higher levels of management.
I have recently started work as a business analyst. This appears completely unrelated to my studies in physiology and electrical engineering but it was the way I combined skills from both degrees to approach the business case studies at my interviews that impressed my employers. |
