Title: "Agilent EESof Advanced Design System (ADS) University Donation Programme and Demonstration of EESof ADS"

Speakers: Mr. Robert Tracey, Agilent Technologies Australia Pty Ltd and Dr. Nemai Chandra Karmakar, ECSE Department, Monash University

Abstract:

Agilent EESof ADS is a comprehensive software toolset for wireless communications technologies. Wireless communications industries, research organizations and universities have been extensively using ADS from its inception in early 70’s. In its current form ADS comprises many resourceful additions to make it an one-stop design environment of wireless technologies. Agilent has a university donation license programme between university and Agilent. Many renowned universities around the globe have been benefiting from this programme. Monash University, KL campus is also applying for the university donation programme. This seminar will highlight the usefulness of the software for ECSE teaching and research.

Mr. Tracey will discuss about the programme. Dr. Karmakar will talk about the utilities of EESof ADS for teaching and research in wireless communications.
