| The teaching exchange program is a very important part
of the collaboration.
The Luleå academic calendar is divided into four teaching periods, each of eight weeks teaching and two weeks examinations, as opposed to two semesters at Monash. The program places a teacher in the host university for a prolonged period - usually 3 to 6 months. All exchange teaching is in English. Up to now, teaching exchange has been in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Technology and Business and Economics, Arts (music and geography). Teaching exchange and collaboration in other discipline areas are being promoted. Staff interested in participating in the program are
advised to access
the Luleå
website for information on appropriate Luleå courses that they
wish
to teach, and then to contact either Sven
Molin or Kim Chew Ng
with
their proposals.
