Feedback to students
regarding performance in examinations
The following procedures
have been formulated to address the needs of students who
request feedback on performance in their examinations. These
procedures are derived from the "Monash University Freedom
of Information Practices and Procedures".
- For students who obtain a pass mark or better in the examination component of a subject - students may obtain a photocopy of their examination paper by written application through the departmental office. The cost to the student will be $5 per examination paper (the cost may be adjusted by the Head of Department from time-to-time in line with inflation).
- For students who
obtain less than a pass mark in the examination component
of a subject - staff are encouraged to give feedback to
students on their performance and they will be allowed to
read through their examination paper under supervision.
These students may also buy a photocopy of their
examination paper as set out in part (1)
above.
The deadline for requests to see exam papers is the end of week 2 of the following semester,
